Jessica is a lighting designer based out of Chicago. As a lighting designer, her goal is to create art through the manipulation of light and shadow to tell compelling stories.

She is inspired by music, movement, and everyday magic. Her dream job would fuse her love of literature, history, politics, and the arts to make an impact. She has a varied background in theatre, music, integration/installation, theme parks, venue/crew management, and stage management.

Jessica received her MFA in stage design from Northwestern University in 2018. At Northwestern, she designed a wide variety of plays, musicals, and music events including the world premier of EVER IN THE GLADES, which transferred to the Kennedy Center as part of their Performances for Young Audiences series in June 2018. She is originally from Bowling Green, Kentucky, where she earned her BFA in Theatre from Western Kentucky University.

In her spare time, Jessica loves to read, visit museums, binge Netflix, and draw/paint.
